Sometimes a game will be fun, but the only thing keeping you coming back is FOMO. "I have to get these missions done or else I won't complete my battle pass!" or "This event won't be around next week!" The only thing that will keep you coming back for Helldivers 2 is that it's just more fun than any other game right now. While admittedly I purchased it feeling left out of the memes and real time campaign, I keep playing because it's just an exhilarating and often genuinely funny game. I find myself laughing every once in a while thinking about some of the moments that happened completely naturally. Add to that the lack of a battle pass, the ease of collecting cosmetics, and wildly varied missions, and this game just feels packed with love and care and fun. So, so good.

Genuinely the most disturbing film I've ever seen. It plays into very specific phobias, so I don't think it'll affect everyone the same, nor do I think the pseudo-ambiguous script will please everyone. However, this is the only movie that have nearly brought me to tears from fear. It is without a doubt the most intense movie I've ever watched.

More of a thriller than a superhero movie, "The Batman" contains enough genuine intrigue to keep those less Batman-inclined invested.

Eh. I wanted to give this movie three stars. I really did. It's fun, the effects are pretty good, and the acting is usually okay. But every time I thought about those aspects of the movie, I also thought about the lack of really any story whatsoever. The lack of interesting uses of superpowers. The sometimes godawful dialogue and delivery. This movie was fun, don't get me wrong. But I laughed more at the movie than with it.

"The Fix" is produced by the woman who failed to do her job on national television the first time, and found a way to do it again. To call it revenge would be an understatement. "The Fix" would be best described as "why network television is failing". An out-of-touch writer's room, a vengeful producer, and bad actors combine to create something truly laughable. I would be amazed to see it make through its first season with the little material and poorly-conceived concept it has under its belt, but I can't say it wouldn't be in everyone's best interest.
