Being a person who both read the manga and watched the anime. I honestly feel like something is missing in the portrayal of the characters. Especially Luffy. I think what makes one piece what it is, is the over the top and exaggeration of luffy's character and lovable denseness of his reactions. So I think you can't do it in a live action since it's too realistic even in a fantasy setting. The whole story feels rushed somehow and I get it, with it being shorter than the anime. But, there were too many plot holes and comedic elements that I miss from the original. Kudos to the effects though of the monsters. It's well made.

It's really really bad. Watched it with my niece and she thought it was bad. She's 9 btw. The acting is bad. The story had SOME potential but then you get these inconsistencies on the whole movie. Where are the other characters. Owl and rabbit? Why do they do what they do? It's not enough motivation to kill C. Robin because he left them. They're in a forest, there would be some berries or something they can eat?? Prior to meeting C. robin, they LIVED there and had been all their lives. The only thing i can comment on positively is the great color of the film and sound. Other than that, don't waste your time with this movie.

Decent film but too many plot holes. The acting is a little mediocre. I didn't really like it that much. Promising start but blah middle & ending. Sorry. ***SPOILER AHEAD If they saw the camera footage of kate being dropped off, why didn't they see her with rob? And the police man and rob have totally different physicality i wouldn't mistake them for each other. When rob confronted her about calling the police, she could have faked it and says she won't just until the police arrive. I mean there's a baby there, if things got physical, the baby could've been injured. And also, i refuse to believe that she was capable of besting rob, not because she was a girl. But she's really weak willed.

Brilliant! So amazed by this series. Just when you think you found out who the killer is, it turned out to be someone else! The pacing and the characters are so well written and the actors did a really great job playing their roles. Can't wait for Season 3! Really did a cliffhanger there at the end. NEED MORE.

i love my fair share of zombie movies. I think i've just about watched almost all zombie movies available. I don't have a high standard for zombie movies, if the story is clear and the zombies are of good quality (great makeup and great acting) i'm on board. So i have to say, i was quite disappointed in this movie. I had to force myself to see the ending and midway can't help but to roll my eyes at some of the scenes. !! Spoiler alert!! There's many issues i have with this movie. Don't get me wrong, the special effects and soundtrack are great! The story had so so much potential, the fact that there were "smart & fast" zombies and there was a "king" zombie, there's even a tiger zombie. It was new, it seems exciting but the story and the roles of the characters ruined it for me. First of all, Kate is annoying. I get that she wants to save the mother (still don't know why she came inside the walls) , but without knowing if the mother is still alive, she takes on a huuuge gamble knowing the possibility that the mother somehow survives? She decided to hop on her dad's team and rescue the mother. Instead of idk, staying and keeping the 2 kids safe? She doesn't even have a plan and got all of the others killed with her leaving them, making her dadddy come find her and save her, risking his life, as well as the mother's life and the pilot as well. The storyline is so predictable and just when you think there's potential for the 2 latina girls who are badass. they get killed in the most dumb way. They could've save the first girl, They had so much time! The second girl didn't even get to show off her skills and was killed by the zombie king immediately. I can't point out all the wrongs of this movie one by one, because it's going to be too long of a post. but seeing as i'm not the only one who thinks this movie is bad. Then, i can only give advise to not watch this, and waste 2 hours of your time. Sorry.
