Series 1 is an absolute stunner of light entertainment, funny, colourful with witty characters and great storytelling. Series 2 in comparison is distorted. Too perfect character that has no foil to play off against with strange cutting of scenes and sometimes desperate Charlie Chaplin esc stunts to fill the lull. The locations are still as drawing as before but all over the ride starts as a 5 star comedy that rides off a cliff to 2.5 in series 2. So sad and hoping season 3 can get back to the original .

Intelligent, thought provoking movie with soul. Having almost been deterred by low review scores I am glad we watched it. Subject matter is AI and what makes it different to humans being self awareness/consciousness. All told in a story grounded in deep friendship and love united by scientific interest and the drive to learn about the world or make it a better place leaving you with lots of questions around the essence of humans, transcendence and thus endless possibilities of AI. All cast are acting and harmonise well together tied together by Morgan Freeman’s soothing voice over to the finish. It’s a slow and steady movie that doesn’t rush but has enough happening to keep you entertained.
