Loved it! Very atmospheric, beautiful cinematography and great acting ❤️

Where the Crawdads Sing is one of my favourite books; so beautifully written. After reading various reviews of the film which mostly slated it, I was unsure whether to go to see it. I'm so glad I ignored the reviews! I thought the film was an excellent portrayal of the book and, whilst still preferring the book, I'm very pleased I saw the film. Great acting, and photography and very atmospheric. Don't be put off by the critics; in my opinion, they don't know what they're talking about.

I thought this film was excellent, with a superb performance from Joaquin Phoenix. A disturbing and graphic story of mental illness, leading to self destruction. A very sad story which shows us all how careful we should be in our treatment and understanding of those around us.
