Although I have followed the tragedy of 9/11 over the past two decades, I have never heard Pasquale's story before. A miracle, and it reinforces the idea that hope shines eternal. Thank you for sharing.

An amazing book, from the stunning cover to the detailed notes and informative appendices. Bess is a heroine of mine as I could see Hardwick Hall from my UK garden, but I knew very little of her, not even her Chatsworth connection until quite recently. If you like biographies and the Tudor period of history, especially Elizabeth 1, then this is a book you should read.
