After a decade of the TDK trilogy, this movie does an excellent job of putting Batman, his universe, his villains back in the spotlight in the right way. The Batman goes deep into Batman's gritty, savage Gotham City and explores really dark, mature and adult themes like morality, criminology, psychology and society which is exactly what Batman's villains like the Joker and Riddler bring out in him. Instead of blasters and superpowers, Batman is a realistic adventure into a realistic world - and this is supported by a great plot, acting and combat! So happy to see my favourite superhero be done justice!

Loved it from start to finish, incredible direction with how the movie was portrayed with time scales and an amazing plot. The action scenes were also very well choreographed too. And the cast gave great performances - I really hope for a sequel that takes place in modern day
