The Fifth Element really is dross. Yeah its funny and spectacular but its basically unoriginal and tedious. It headlines the major flaw with pretty females in sci-fi movies. The so-called "Born Sexy Yesterday" which is writ large with the "Leeloo" character. That sexy, naïve, half-naked, simple superwomen who just can't help taking her clothes off at the wrong time and who oh-so-needs Bruce Willis to save her... (and the world). The movie is fun but its 2 hours I won't get back.

I started out thinking I can't watch this. By the end I was in tears. Such a great movie.
