This broly movie does take place after dragon ball super so you do need to watch dragon ball super in order to understand it. In my case I did watch all of super so I did understand everything in the whole movie there was no confusion on my part. The animation was great I loved the new broly storie and makes you feel for the villain broly I also love the fact that it teases the next season for dragon ball super. The things that I didn’t like was that the music just wasn’t for me I didn’t like it and I can see the majority of people not being able to watch it because they wouldn’t of watched dragon ball super, but to anyone that has watched dragon ball super I really recommend this movie. 4.9/5 for me.
