I played my first final fantasy in 1996 and fell in love with the franchise - FF2 (US). FF16 is one of the worst ones I’ve ever played. I’ll start with the only good, I quite enjoyed the in-fighting gameplay. But the storyline lacks any depth, the side stories have no bearing on the game, they are just REALLY annoying distractions. Weapons, armour, experience and level up lack any satisfaction of really completing anything, they just seem to happen along a very linear path. The speed of the game is way too slow, far too much needless chat and meaningless animations, put there just to try and distract from the lack of depth with pretty pictures. Poor effort Square

A really great show, but 2 minor issues: racist and homophobic. The one single non Korean actor (Ali) played an imperial subservient “yes man”; and the VIP’s we’re depicted as perverted homosexuals. This tv show would not have been made in Europe or North America the way it was in Korea
