Just finished watching Jubilee. It's beautiful. It's heartbreaking. It says how transient power, money and glamour truly is. What stood out to me is just to destroy each other, people in power walked on the path of their destruction and they did it knowingly, happily. Greed killed them, took everything away of what they once stood on. Madan Kumar, Srikanth Roy, Sumitra Kumari, Jay Khanna, Niloufer everyone suffered through the chain of things that linked to the killing of Jamshed Khan, which was noone's fault really. But this series brilliantly images how everything stands on a card stack, which can tumble by the wrong breadth and that's exactly what happened. The power dynamic kept tossing down dominoes, and Vikramaditya motwane shows this with class, how they knew what they will lose, but they gambled with their present worth to get a lot more at the cost of someone's downfall or even death. Nothing stands the test of time, especially power, money and the facade of flamboyance. Everyone is still that insecure, jealous and greedy as the common human. This series is the embodiment of that.

Gunjan Saxena - The movie, puts forward a strong example of a mediocre plot, effortless acting, and appreciable direction overshadowed by the screaming presence of a Star kid desperately trying to match up to her co-actors who are in words inferior to her last name and typical Bollywood inclusions of overwhelming bg music and excessive use of tears, rejection and a self paved way heroic way of acceptance. The only way we can justify the collosal hype this cinema received is because how it is based on a very trendy motion - struggles of a woman and how they're looked upon by years of patriarchy and how toxic masculinity undermines & hurdles their perseverance to be esteemed. The only inspiratory segments in this Johar produced film are the dialogues delivered by Pankaj Tripathi, which perhaps not only spoon fed confidence to the in movie, Gunjan (Junior Kapoor) but also gave her the little finger to walk along as develop a sense of intense acting, which she tried but was ordinary and at its best. There's a heavy lack of expression, intensity, and conviction from the part of our main protagonist but the film with its good choices of supplementary actors covers up well, and delivers a decent enough watch if you keep side nepotism for a moment.
