I wish I could have known Christopher McCandless. His adventurous soul and fearless refusal to be typecast in his own life is inspiring. Although his life ended far too soon in the most tragic and lonely way, he lived more than most could ever hope to. This movie portrayed his journey beautifully, and the raw wilderness where he drew is past breath was spectacular. I will be reading the book again👍👍

I'm always on the hunt for something interesting on Netflix and this series delivered hands down. I so often turn movies off when they're too graphic or disturbing. Although obviously the entire series was in search of a rapist, I appreciated how it focused more on the emotional journeys of all the women involved than on the horrors of what they were finding. I couldn't turn it off. So poignant. So gutwrenchingly real. So emotionally raw. A true celebration of the human spirit and of the ability to heal and become whole again. Highly recommend!! 10+++++
