Here we go, So Acolyte is set in the high republic era where there is some pretty deep lore. Lore many star wars will be introduced too that have not read books/followed up in the games and cartoon mentions. The threads of the force is not a new to the franchise, nor were cultures that used the force as though it was magic (A more tribal term for the force). Diving into this area of understanding reminds me of some of the times in the cartoons about the Night Sisters with how they used their (Magic). Cultures like this were all throughout the galaxy, and one such race called the Sa'ari were a fully female race, all force sensitive, and able to procreated through a form of parthenogenesis by use of the force. Many people don't know this but it is in fact part of the Legends series (Gorge lucas's era), so when people on here are calling out "This isn't what Gorge Lucas would do, and it's so woke!!!" Have no idea what they are talking about because Disney lore, is still following his core ideals. Currently in the show, we have Many different path possibilities, each not seeming to be of good intentions. So far I'm at about 32 possibilities, need another episode to narrow it down, all within current star wars lore. And yet we see people saying the Writing is bad? Hell no, Not with how much re-research I've had to do compared to other shows. People seem to be expecting children to have this elaborate method of story telling/ deep connection with the audience. This is their own vision and not what the writing tells us, it is children at the stage where they are trying to better understand themselves and pushing past their boundaries, and also trying to hang onto what they have, In their correct age range dialogue. I will update this later as the show continues on, I'll give it a 5 for now (It's about 4.5 for me so far) But I wouldn't hold a lot of weight on the 1 star reviews since the show is not even finished yet and there is a large youtube/tiktok creator push trying to downplay the show to make money off views.

Spoiler notice* There is no way anyone sane would give this movie a 5 star. Great actors, but during this movie, they failed hard at being the characters they played. It felt like that awkward hug you get from a person claiming to be your aunt that you just met today. There was several areas in the movie that fell short of making sense. The one that stood out most was when family members got stuck in a cave after a massive blast, and then after the planet is saved, they just appear? No harm done, easy escap,e and thousands of miles away they meet up, and the main characters are still wearing their space suits.... rushed byond all hell. I did love the explosions and the moon falling though. They also never touched the alien space crafts... like wth, you have the most least capable capsule and a man who just learned everything from the moon...stupid moves after stupid moves. I was done half way through the movie.

I was sorely disappointed in troy. It was neat that they attempted this era but it seems like they we not really trying to hard for this one, the character models were bla, the amount of time spent on characters really felt like it took away from the battles and soul of the game. They did great with Shogun 2 and warhammer 1 & 2 and headed in a great direction...but now it seems they are falling back into boringness....I played it for a little and then uninstalled, I really think they should focus on what success they've had, rather than just the history parts now.

Game is very fun to play either as a Fire Team Member or as a Predator. There are some glitches and bugs that are common for a release game so I would count this as a early release. However the thrill of the hunt is what makes me skip over some of the game's mishaps as it can be very fun and memorable. I will bump this another star once all the bugs are knocked out and another when add more content to the game for the value they asked.
