Galactic Chicken

You know, if I hadn't read the first 10 episodes in the 80's I probably would have liked it more but from my point of view there's just to many changes: they did CGI for the wrong things, took out some of the story parts I'm used to (and realy wanted to see), and switched up some of the characters (which kinda threw me off until I figured out who they were trying to represent). It's a pity they treated Morpheus as if he could directly effect our reality "in world": in the comics he could only effect dreams, so the whole escape thing kinda fell flat for me... And it was "eternal waking" NOT "eternal sleep" which in the comics was much much worse... But the characters they did do right are pretty spot on, and of course Gregory is always a plus. Guess I'm just a little too picky but I could and will watch it all again someday.

Well if you saw my review for the first one nothing much has really changed... I personally think they should have used some CGI to make Paul look a little taller or maybe bigger (I mean he looks like a mini action figure, and sounds like a bratty teenager). Stillgar still sounds like an illegal alien (I mean really, that's all you guys got?) and Shani still speaks perfect English like she's still in high school (for real)... For reals dude the Sci-Fi stuff is awesome but the actors and the delivery are just so underwhelming, unimaginative and bland, and the bad guys suffer from stormtrooper syndrome... I still say the mom is the best thing in the movies, and everybody else still feels like a placeholder to me... And my God the Gurney Hallock thing (I don't think anybody can ever top Patrick Stewart on that one)... Take it or leave it that's what I think but still watch it, as sci-fi freaks we need what we can get.. Love the effects, love the music, overlooked the funky stuff... I'll watch these things once and that's it...

Fortunately we have a new dune series to check out. Unfortunately Stilgar and Paul are super annoying to watch. Seriously you guys, my daughter could whoop Paul's butt IRL and Stilgars accent: it's like I don't know what is it? I really hate it when movies try to make up new languages and this one is no different (it is cringe if you pay attention)... The effects are great the scifi intimations are why we watch these movies but the heroes look like toys or some kind of action figure, explained to by some dude with some weird fake accent, and the best part is the mom (she is super hot and she's a thin line that keeps everything glued together unfortunately there's just not enough glue) because everybody else just seems like a placeholder... They really should have thought about Patrick Stewart when they casted for gurney hallock, like OMG you guys... What a letdown the new gurney is if you watched the old movie LOL holy freaking Jesus don't get me started... I really wished I loved this show instead of just kind of liking it but honestly the old Sci-Fi TV series is kind of better imo... I don't believe I'm saying all this but I am so enjoy the shows and have a good one

This movie is like: if Peter Jackson redid The Hobbit trilogy the same way with all the weird added stuff but instead, it's Star Wars and it's not a trilogy so it's even more confusing, squished together' and almost some kind of weird bad movie.vibe to it, but it goes so fast you can't really figure out what the heck is happening and when you do none of it makes sense.... Plan 9 from Outer Space is more entertaining to watch than this movie SERIOUSLY!

I can't remember how many hours I have in this game between console and PC maybe 2k hours (probably more since it's not cross platform) My PC guy is at 98, while my console guy is somewhere around 75. I think I've spent about 30 bucks on gold between the both of them It is super pretty immersive and extremely well optimized but OMG the boredom the grind and the hackers ( when you start blowing up through the stratosphere it's because hackers are putting dynamite in your pocket) The economy is absurd, and the bugs lots and lots of bugs Still it's fun to play from time to time just to absorb the ambience and that's pretty much what I do,.... I've got all my good guns I've got all my cool outfits there's just nothing really left to do so I guess just take your chances but it's not a dream game like so many people keep claiming and it does have its problems, and they've already made their money from this game so as far as patches 2 bugs that have been here from the start good luck with that but hey you can chase deer around lasso them so I guess it's not all bad

I think the neat thing to consider about this show is that it was filmed for 16.9 format( wide screen)TV but was released in Old School TV pan and zoom format before whide screens we're really a thing way back in 1999-2002, so from a visual prospective this thing holds up really well for a 20 year old TV show Each episode follows a different storyline (usually) focusing on the hunting down and acquisition/preservation of some kind of mysterious power, usually involving an artifact. The only cast member to change in the entire series is the secretary girl so it's got a pretty consistent cast throughout Some characters (usually fellow treasure Hunters) reprise their roles along with the main cast several times on all new adventures I think the acting is solid the props look great and the Adventures they have are fun sometimes kind of weird but you're always going to be entertained and it never really seems to get old If you like anything Indiana Jones it is definitely binge-worthy
