I thoroughly enjoyed this series, and thought the acting was good, especially by the two leads. It kept my attention throughout. Don't be put off by any of the lower star reviews, it’s well worth watching.

Nope! I sat through the first episode and decided I didn’t care for any of the characters or their fluffy sidekicks. It’s one big yawn. But please note that the BBC doesn’t make any drama these days - it commissions other companies to do so. The BBC Drama Department was disbanded many moons ago, sadly.

I loved it. Last night I watched it with a group of friends and they all found it very funny. Julia Roberts was unconvincing as the “ugly sister” for obvious reasons. But John Cusack was at his very best. Billy Crystal was brilliant and you can certainly pick out his very funny additions to the script!
