This series leaves you feeling like you are trapped in a sea of misery and any hope that there is a light at the end of the series keeps getting dashed over and over again. In short, it's painful to watch. After a very nice man/character is drowned in a sea of acid I decided the show was not worth following for more than 1 season. I watched the end of that episode which was the last show of the first season, and I am finished with it. Mostly, I am bewildered and put-off by the rationale behind the writer's decision to kill off such a nice character in such a horrific way and I don't want to give him any more attention than he deserves. Nothing makes it worth the while to sit through this sea of misery. The attractive women and sex just aren't enough to make it worth your while, if that's what he was after.
