I just watched it yesterday for the first time. I felt it is satire movie which hints that women should be upfront about what they want or they will have to wait for man with supernatural power to read women's mind. It also clearly showed women choose to be silent and play it cool to fit in because of power hierarchy and shaming. And also it showed anyone even misogynists and chauvinists can empathize with women if he gets chance to understand what woman wants and struggles. I think this movie was ahead of its time so that audience back then viewed it as just funny movie. I wish it came out these days. Seems like this intended to be comedy movie back then, but it is very effective feminist movie which is digestible to everyone comparing with today's feminist movies which masculates and demonizes women, perpetuates misogyny because they're again ahead of today's time.
