Aside from the graphics.. this movie was disappointing, especially with a decent cast... The storyline itself was badly written with so many "wth" moments that just didn't make any sense. At least there's quite a bit of action..

I love apocalyptic movie and as usual, gerald butler delivers an amazingly entertaining performance! My only issue with the movie is how utterly RETARDED they made for the character of his wife! It was just so frustrating, my husband and I practically stopped watching the movie midway! I mean, they were portrayed as educated, successful people, but she then she had ZERO common sense throughout the movie, it just became unrealistic. Anyway, great job on Gerard Butler's acting and the storyline, overall.

Entertaining enough, I suppose, but the sheer stupidity of Diane Lane's character (yes, it is ALL her fault that Kevin Costner's character dies!) Was ultimately frustrating and enough for me to decide the movie isn't worth watching again. Not an impressive plot! Bravo to Kevin Costner's performance-- no complaints there!

Overall, a decent show, entertaining enough. The reason for the 3 stars is that there are one too many cheesy scenes (in my opinion), and some frustrating parts where the characters seemed to lack common sense, which I'm sure was an effort to make those scenes more "exciting", but it was so obvious I couldn't help but think-- "wow.. they just made that character look so unintelligent." Anyway, the characters are likeable, but the acting could be better. The story line just got worse and worse... I suggest to stop watching after season 2 to save yourself frustrations.
