Having been the author of such a book one would think they would be a bit more empathetic to their low income and poverty based students. However that is not the case, as they have made it a mandate that all students who take any class with her as the instructor purchase this book, essentially profiting off the backs of her students. And if a student asks for alternative means of obtaining this text in order to help those who have no income or are on financial aid, the author sends an email to the entire staff speaking lowly of you, and then when confronted with their actions turns and gaslights you, the victim. Needless to say, unless you HAVE to support this person because of their mandated purchase of this as a student, do not financially support this hypocrite.
