Overall, a good monster movie. Interesting story line with some pretty good acting ( despite Kate's bogus accent). The effects were good with non stop action. If you like a good somewhat campy horror flick, you'll love this.

Not perfect and somewhat derivative of other films in the same genre, but entertaining. In addition the special effects are decent with some nice scenery. The plot combines magic and history nicely. All in all a pretty good film.

I do not think this is one of the Coen bros. best. For a good movie to resonate it has to have likable characters. This movie really doesn't have any. Jeff Bridges "Dude" is an aging stoner caught in a complicated kidnap plot. John Goodmans character is an obnoxious psycho. Some slightly clever scenes can't make up for the convoluted plot line and the parade of human debris. Much better offerings by these guys are Oh Brother where art thou and Fargo...

Not a big fan of "chick flicks" but this wasn't bad. I liked the music and the sets. The acting was good.A fine way to spend a rainy afternoon...

Lots of explosions and guys screaming. Absurd and impossible situations. In addition, historically inaccurate, the British cracked Enigma not Americans. The ending reminds me of an old Monte Python skit. Skip this floater.

This movie scenario while possible, is absurd. The dialogue is juvenile and the acting is wooden. Even Morgan Freeman can't cool this hot mess.It does feel like a made for TV epic. The special effects seem dated and the goofy ending( mini bike with baby)....just ridiculous!
