I don't get why this was so liked. I found it derivative, predictable, un-funny, anti-motherhood and inappropriate for children. Struggled to stay awake and so happy I saw it for free. I counted how long it took me to laugh at the 1st joke, 41 mins in! Margot Robbie has the perfect smile, face and body to play Barbie, much so than anyone else. However, she's past her prime now and the cracks are starting to show. A little too late.

I have been dying for a good FPS of the Aliens 1986 film for decades. The last good one was AvP2 from 2001. Gearbox's Aliens Colonial Marines is still the worse game I've ever played thanks to Randy Pitchfork's lies. Little did I know that my itch would finally be scratched by an XCOM-like RTS like this game. If you don't mind compromising on the FPS need and don't mind some strategic difficulty this is the best modern use of the Aliens '86 feel. It's a Lieutenant Gorman simulator essentially. Fireteam was close but it's lack of an underslung grenade launcher on its M-41 pulse rifle was too nagging an issue for me.

An epic game, graphics aren't the best but the story is top notch & the main theme harmoniously beautiful. Pity that Disney threw this story away as it was the perfect explanation for how Jango became the clone template. The Disney comic which retold the new canon version had a lack of explanation for why he was chosen. Sultry main villain & Clancy Brown voiced secondary villain. Temuera Morrison voicing is perfect. Only gripe is the outdated horizontal look controls are dated & feel backwards today. Strange they couldn't just allow a setting adjustment for this re-release.

Passable as in better than TLJ but I still dislike it overall. JJ was in obvious damage control. First half was good but second half was a convoluted senseless mess.
