Paul Doliveux

Incorporates a lot of original combat footage, some of it quite breathtaking. The planes and equipment are historically right for each of the period described, that I could see. Having been released in 1949 with US Navy cooperation there were certainly less mistakes than in later movies. Certainly worth watching for this, and this is much better than watching small segments of the combat footage taken out of context.
