Just finished my first playthrough. Pretty much got everything I wanted. Story starts a bit boring at first but great by the end. Combat is great, missions are fun, very addictive which is starting to be a rare thing nowadays. Is it better than the original? No.. But it's not any worse, they are quite different in a sense but retains the dying light feel we all know and love. Only real critiques I have is maybe the soundtrack is not as good as the first and a bit dissapointed there is not a new game plus at the moment. If you enjoyed the first, you will love this!! Highly recommended.
