Started off strong and not much centred around romance (not that I have any problem with it) then took a 180° with really uncomfortable forced romantic moments. It's just that none of the heroines connected with the hero- the one that did isn't the lead one so the other girl that I don't like much she is in the spotlight wherese it should be the other way around and I couldn't sympathize with her at all. But anyways the 1st half really hooked me up...The acting of some characters especially the old chairman is just amazing really. But slowly it just goes down to dung- ridiculous forced romance, shallow 1D characters and their inconsistency, 180° cartoonish change in their agenda. By episode 14 it was just too much, the ending is abysmal, couldn't believe the romantic choice- so forced and ugh just thinking about it makes me disgusted, I feel really infuriated and betrayed honestly and never had I felt like this for a show. I really wish I can erase my memory of watching this.. I can't imagine I just wasted 15 hrs on this. I cannot fault the actors cause I know a lot of them are really good but the script is just... Anyways I cannot recommend anyone to watch this grabage. Some other guys below also mentioned this I'll say again, there a lot of great amazing shows out there- some hidden gems, some popular ones. I cannot believe the hype for Itaewon Class and the current ratings. It deserves a 2 or 3 at max out of 5 for the outstanding performance of chairman but since the ratings are already so high imma gonna give this pile of dung 1 out of 5 to even the odds.
