Kamalhaasan the legend..The screenplay was just awesome...He extracted the maximum out of every actors..His acting should have been felicitated with atleast 2 national awards.But, He got nothing.This might have been due to the controversial subject of the movie.. yeah he has shown the other side of the coin in the partitioning of Hindu- Muslims.. Though the movie is too lengthy 3hr 21 mins, each and every character in this movie was depicted in a legendary manner....At the end he has shown that the Hindu Muslim crisis is still continuing and it became the cause for his death.I have heard that this movie was a flop.I think 90's people have made a blunder mistake by not recognising these kinds of films(Anbe sivam also).... I hope this won't happen nowadays..
