This was the first Chinese drama that I began to watch over last year's summer. It got me into the world of historical Chinese drama and I will never regret watching it. Don't be intimidated by its 50 episodes because it'll all seem like a breeze once u finish and you'll be hoping for more. I agree with some of the reviews that specific parts of the show are slow but trust me, it's worth it. This show is extremely popular in China and I'm so glad it's receiving popularity globally. If you're thinking about watching this show, I urge you to watch it now.

Vincenzo has the most amazing plot, cliffhangers, and makes u yearn for more. I have many unanswered questions, I hope there is a season 2. The actors played their part perfectly and this show is flawless. 10000/10 would recommend.
