The actual movie was the directors cut. In order to get the actual sense of the movie you have to see that version first. Then you can actually see that they butchered the movie with the pg13 version.

The movie places you in the mind of the paranoid protagonist who’s suspicious of everything. The entire time you actually believe he’s crazy. In many ways you feel guilty as the viewer for not believing him but the way they cut the scenes and portray Eckhart ingeniously influence you to abandon your own logic even when seeing the atrocities unfold in real time through his eyes. Arthur Bretnik’s only allies were the viewers and even we abandoned him!!! Johan Johansson song being used at the end is a great Easter egg since it’s from the battlefield LA trailer (another of eckharts films) this was a mind twister but a great movie 🎥
