A spectacular sequel to the first that has me excited for the next one. While there are some minor plot holes that have been pointed out such as the mcgonagall thing, what a lot of people I think are forgetting is that a mystery does not equal a plot hole. /Anyone/ who know Rowling's writing knows she loves to leave many loose ends to later be answered in an unexpected way. I'm sure questions about Leta, Queenie, the Dumbledore family tree, etc will be answered, just because they weren't answered in this movie does not mean this movie was a bad one. I found this movie spectacular, great characters, acting, amazing magic, the story kept me interested and had me laughing and my jaw dropping for a lot of it. Sure there are less creatures than before, which makes sense considering this movie isn't about them this time but they are still just as wonderful. Amazing at lying down the lore of the fantastic beast world, which there is so much to see in an adult view and not that of 3 children. This story, sure it's connected to the original harry potter movie franchise. However it's important to still see fantastic beast and harry potter movies as separate entities. This one is written by Rowling herself, straight to movies while the other movies were in many ways butchered from the books to make a family pleasing, more simple to digest story, so I wouldn't expect the same story telling from the original 8 movies.
