Clambo Lam

Really enjoyed the 1st series and was so excited when they announced Series 2 was going to happen. But I'm wondering did they change writers in the middle of the 2nd series? Because by episode 4 the plot made less and less sense... how does your helicopter crash into the sea and the paintings in your pocket remain totally dry? How do you look at a garden of dead plants and know there's a gun hidden beneath?
