I’m genuinely questioning if I missed something or not...The movie has everything it promises, a great score, beautiful cinematography, and a very unique immersive feel to it. I was on the edge of my seat the entire runtime and felt everything the characters in the movie felt. The tension and unease was palpable and the mood left nothing to be desired. When the movie finished however, it left a bad taste in my mouth. A movie i thoroughly enjoyed while watching had suddenly soured after i left the theatre. It feels like the whole movie is building to something but in my opinion it never pays it off. I don’t know maybe I missed something but it was strange no one was talking about it when leaving the theatre but every review I read claims it’s the film of the decade...It was definitely a good movie it just left me wanting more.
