Overall I thought this series was a pretty good attempt at an entertaining comedy positively highlighting the lgbtq+ community. No, the show is not entirely representative (yet), and some of the jokes are a bit cheesy, but the writing is pretty good in general, and refreshingly doesn't rely on a lot of sarcasm to make it a fun experience. And by the way, all of those critics who think that the characters are awkward stereotypes need to get over themselves. As a gay man myself, I know multiple versions of all of these characters in real life, myself included. We should be thought of as role models, not stereotypes.
