Sad and nostalgic. Reminiscing the Game of Thrones... Most characters die... storytelling is superb.

Watch it in Netflix. The formula of the plot is very simple but the delivery is superb. Going back in time to showcase the daily life of Thai people in the 17th century. I love the costumes, the music, the simple but powerful dialogues, the punch lines, the melodramatic expressions, comic relief... and to top it all I don't know Thai. For a farang, it gave me a better understanding and appreciation of Thai culture, its social customs and traditions, Buddhist beliefs, and their interactions with Western thoughts and beliefs. I am on my second round of watching it. Hoping that I will learn Thai language in the process.

The finale gave me sleepless nights, daymares and panic attacks. And you bring Paco to the scene.. Purist product of a distorted mind.
