I only gave this game one star because I couldn’t give it zero. I, like many others, have been a huge fan of this entire franchise. I’ve religiously played every game since UFC Undisputed came out in 2009 (I fondly remember downloading the beta to my Xbox 360 and falling in love with it). What EA Sports has done with this iteration is absolutely and completely disappointing. It’s worse than that, it’s a lazily built money grab. EA changed many things making the game less nuanced and fun. They have completely ruined the ground game and made the stand up more clunky and less enjoyable. I strongly urge you to not buy this game. If your interested in a fighting game buy UFC 3 instead. UFC 4 is absolute trash. I have never been more disappointed in a video game.

Easily the most disappointing game that I have ever purchased. This is coming from someone who has religiously played every UFC game ever. The game feels cheaply put together. There are all kinds of bugs. The control changes that they implemented have made the game less intuitive and less enjoyable.
