Well done Patsy Palmer for switching off from Good Morning Britain today. Interesting that Susannah Reid said it was not their intention to ‘ambush’ her in the interview. Isn’t that exactly what they do to everyone on their morning hit list, I’m surprised anyone agrees to appear on it. I had hoped after Piers left it would become a more balanced programme bringing the already anxious, demoralised, lonely nation the odd bit of cheer, but apart from the grudging acknowledgement that the Government’s vaccine program is a huge success, rarely does a crumb of positivity come from your panel. All they do is drag up every ‘wrong’ deed and damaging headline from the past year and hang the ‘offender(s) out to dry. We need balanced news coverage so enough is enough I’m switching off from ITV.
