So freaking SLOW! This movie needs a 1.5x to keep things moving along. So many dull scenes where nothing happens. Drawn out conversations. Total snoozefest.

Great for children, snoozefest if you're an adult. Total dumpsterfire. Pretty clear they wanted to portray the Grinch to be "nicer", but that doesn't fit the entire story. Someone who just dislikes Christmas is not going to put together some crazy plan in an attempt to ruin Christmas for all. It just doesn't work. To many characters, to many side stories. Beautiful animation. Would have been a better movie if they left the Grinch out and had a different main character. Feels heavily directed towards children. As an adult I fell asleep, really drags on, last 10 minutes were good however. Can't hold a candle to Jim's Grinch.
