The only reason it had 2 stars is because of the cinematography. The plot was so laughably bad. It felt like absolutely no effort went into any part of the movie other than making it cool to look at. The characters were bad, the dialogue was bad, the plot was a joke, and there was about 15 minutes of actual movie and 2+ hours of fluff. I was a huge fan of the first movie, this one was a complete flop.

Somewhere between 3-4 stars for me. It’s a good movie I had fun watching, but maybe didn’t need to be as long as it was. It had some unique perspectives for a zombie movie, but at the end of the day it’s what you’re probably looking for if you pick a zombie movie. Lots of action, gore, and violence. The vault cracker and helicopter pilot were my favorite characters as they brought some humor into the movie. The story line following Bautista’s daughter was annoying to me, otherwise it was an all around fun movie to watch.
