This is an extremely prophetic book for our day. Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, the church doors are closed, the corporate worship services are suspended, and the clergy's vocation has been deemed "non-essential." It is time that the Church stop being about the building, the professional worship services, and the professional Christians who distribute spiritual goods and services to the tithing consumers! It is time to put discipleship back into the hands of everyday people and to equip the priesthood of believers to be the Church in their neighborhoods. This is an awesome book that helps explain how we got here, and gives practical ideas of how to get church out of the building and into the world!
