Hi I am 71 years old and over the last few years I have come to the conclusion that the best year of my life was 1902. That was the year that my ancestors moved to Saskatchewan from South Dakota. I like to think that they were forward thinking and they found better farmland. If Saskatchewan is not familiar to you It is where Heath Care started in Canada I remember that people were not all that excited, my mother did not like the CCF party. It was led by Tommy Douglas. I heard the laments of a lot of people. They were concerned that all doctors would move to the states (United States of America). My thoughts were why would they leave they were going to get paid in cash not produce. Plus they did not pay huge insurance premiums. Back to Tommy Douglas you may already know that he has a connection to the USA. One other thing that he promised that he would bring electricity to every farm and he was called crazy. I am not sure if he finished that promise but i remember it coming to our farm and once it started I'm sure It would have been impossible to stop. Regular watcher Neil Clark
