Phenomenal film, although I am traumatized by it! There are negative reviews out there but I can't understand it - this isn't a farce, like The Producers, this is the use of satire to tell a brutal and sensitive story about war, morality, humanity. It's exquisitely made and the child actors give arresting performances. I took my 13 year old, and it opened up conversations about so many subjects, including current events; we were in tears and I keep replaying key scenes in my head. I am grateful it was made, and very glad we saw it.
