Gary Samuel Kay

As someone who loved the source material the show feels nothing like it. The slow pacing would be forgivable if it built up to something but it never does. The dark tone never let's up for moments of humour like in the graphic novel. I honestly don't know what the person who adapted this for the small screen was reading because it resembles nothing of the graphic novel.
