Fantastic animation, an the fact that the movie slowly reveals that they are in a living creature was very well thought out. The lack of tension created when the son discusses his interest in another boy is a breath of fresh air. People leaving the 1 star reviews in regards to the fact that the movie has a gay character are being closed minded. The point of movies is to be with the times and to represent what is the norm of today. Being closed minded and denying peoples sexualities will not change their sexualities, plus the most romantic interactions still occurred in a hetronormative way.

Amazon may have slipped up on this one. This is propaganda at its finest with no hard facts just speculation, claims with no names, and a clear agenda. The Director and Narrator like many older americans is scared. Scared that this world will pass them by which it has. Todays beliefs arent yesterday communism and it's sad but it proves how easily baby boomers are swayed. But it makes perfect sense they grew up watching anti-communism propaganda and they believed it then so why wouldn't they believe it again. It's sad to see so many people afraid of moving into a future where we as a nation actually coexist with minorities and others. But hey if wanna be scared and told what you want to hear watch the movie be brainwashed some more then go out and scream at people that want to move forward with the nation and not keep it in a stalemate of bigotry and fear.
