This movie was all over the place. It was set up like a tv show in the way that there were multiple storylines, this made it confusing and hard to watch. It used characters that everyone knows to get more viewers, although they had little to do with the movie. The same goes for the soundtrack and voice actors, they make things easily recognizable to bring in more money for their corporation. The message of the movie, “don’t be afraid to be yourself” is overused and cliche. The attempts to be relatable to youth (school issues, annoyance with parents, and phone addiction) made the movie extremely cringeworthy. Don’t waste your time and money on this desolate excuse for a film.
