Quite entertaining and suspenseful. There were moments of high anxiety for the characters' fate. Some gruesome scenes, but not too much. One scene not involving wolves was so realistic I had to close my eyes. But that's me, haha. You must suspend logic quite a bit in order to enjoy the movie for what it is: a survival thriller, not a natural history documentary.

It's entertaining, though it has massive flaws in logic. TAU is supposed to be the most powerful AI computer, but its tasks are only to cook, clean and play prison guard. It holds no information whatever about anything beyond that. It doesn't know the meaning of even the simplest words and concepts. If you look past that, the CGI is great, the acting OK, specially Maika Monroe. Gary Oldman voices TAU. He does an acceptable job. But if you want a magnificent voice performance by an actor as a super computer, watch Demon Seed, with Robert Vaughn as Proteus IV.

I loved it when it came out. I still think George Hamilton makes a gorgeous, funny Dracula, and he's still among my favorite actors to have played the King of Vampires. Unfortunately, some jokes haven't aged well. The romance feels tame, perhaps because Susan Saint James' lackluster, bored and boring Cindy offers no response to the undercurrent of restrained, deep passion Hamilton projects so well, and she does not match his comedic timing. The good: George Hamilton, some funny scenes, the 70s nostalgia if you like that sort of thing. The not-so good: all the other performances, the lame humor, the 70s nostalgia if you don't like that sort of thing.

I love this show. The vampires are adorable without losing their quality of danger. The show, like the movie, uses the traditional Dracula-based lore with great originality. It's funny, dark, irreverent. The actors have great chemistry with each other. I absolutely adore Nandor and Laszlo.

Very entertaining, refreshing creature feature with endearing characters and a mixture of comedy, action and tragedy. It isn't really a horror film, unless you consider Godzilla horror. The actors were very good. The CGI monster could be better.

WARNING. SPOILERS. This film isn't the cheap little thriller I was expecting, but rather an almost psychological drama, albeit in a very small scale. I found it entertaining for the most part, though some scenes drag too long and some seem unnecessary. James Caan is terrific, with very little dialogue and alone on stage most of the time. The two young actors deliver, although their characters could use more development. However, there are many plot holes, situations that strain both logic and credibility, the action is slow and the end is depressing and infuriating. I don't believe I'll watch it again.

As a viewer from Latin America, I like watching movies from different countries, and specially those based on folklore and legends. Bulbbul is one of the most beautiful films I have ever seen, with poetic, magical images that are a feast for the eyes, and an evocative score. The main actress is mesmerizing. I couldn't take my eyes off her. She glowed in the role of Bulbbul. The rest of the cast did a good job too. The men weren't stereotyped, but fallible, often confused and wounded, trapped by the same brutal system as the women. The story made its point without exaggeration, contrasting the pain and the horror with the exquisite beauty of the imagery. I certainly will be following this director's career. I'm glad there are alternatives to Hollywood.
