Emma Curtis Lake

This is the 5th David Mitchell book I've read and the first I've loved every minute of. The intertwined story weaving through his novels has felt out of place when I've read them without context. The last book I read was the bone clocks. Now, after reading Utopia Avenue I want to go back and re-read all of them. I imagine some parts of this book may feel disjointed if this is the first David Mitchell novel read, but the character arcs are well thought out and mostly satisfying to follow. The atmosphere is electric, the characters have depth and I will be rereading this one in years to come.
