The game stuck with the old system just enough to not alienate old school wRPG fans, yet tweaked it enough to let you know you're not playing the first Pillars of Eternity. Its very immersive, and when I play I feel like I've been sucked into an epic Sinbad-esque tale on crack... its great! PS4 port leaves a bit to be desired but they did well considering the scope of the PC titles... Load times are still suicide-inducing but I imagine that can be fixed with a faster hard drive.
