Watching the much awaited and over-hyped "The Indian Police Force" was much of a disappointment . This series was supposed to promote Delhi Police for its valiant efforts and help build its image but on the contrary the series with over-dramatization and over-glamaourization just does the opposite. Being in Delhi for last forty years I have lots of respect for Delhi Police but this series makes Delhi police seem "unrealistic" " silly" and suffering from infighting for credit . Come on Delhi police deserves better. "Unreal"are the characterisation, dress up and lifestyles of police personnel shown. "Silly" in the way decision making and acting like going for "encounter operation" wearing "Special cell" jackets and not bullet proof jacket. This special cell jacket is also put on in the gali,in full public view overlooking the window where terrorists are staying. There is much "dhoom dhraka" but the main culprit escapes, because of emotional foolishness of DCP. The "team" of "two persons" moves to goa on a drop of hat based on hunch. This is not how things happen, Shilpa Shetty does not suit her character at all. Her "Glamour" can not and should not replace the bravery as well as sensitivity of women police officer. Shefali shah in Delhi crime series did a much better job. Why couldn't we cast her? . Rohit Shetty couldn't leave adding " Bollywood masala" and thus made mockery of real issues. If there is anything good in the series it is good aerial shots of Delhi, Jaipur and Goa. On the whole Delhi crime series is much better when it comes to handling sensitive and security issues

But I was disappointed .It is an atrocious serial, would not want people to waste time . Its is a poorly made, highly exaggerated and insensitive expression of religious division. No doubt fundamentalist thoughts are bad in any religion but this serials distorts the same to inappropriate heights. Only saving grace is the " acting ' which is good in spite of poor script. Seems to be driven by hidden agenda of altering the narrative towards societies radicalization. Security agencies as well as sociologists , please watch.
