I was one of the many who wanted this game right from its very first E3 teaser, but as is quite often the case, the result does not live up to the hype. At best Cyberpunk 2077 is a buggy blurry stuttery mess with most of what I have played feeling like work rather than play. At worst, it's unplayable, constantly locking up, my PS5 has thus far sent off 9 error reports back to Sony thanks to the fact that this game is so unstable, collectively I'd say I've played for a little over 3 hours. I used to be a games tester and I never experienced this amount of lockups in anything I played back then. I really wanted to love this game, but I can't think of anything good to say about it, wish I'd not bothered buying it, and I'm now done with CD Project Red and anything they release in the future, as the way they've handled the hype and the release, just a bunch of liars.

Still a buggy mess, still locking up anything up to three times a playthrough, in fact when I completed it the first time it even managed to lockup on the end credits, requiring me to redo the ending in order to get the during and after credit benefits. Really wish that they'd spent more time making the side characters that you encounter i.e. Panam, Judy etc... More of a significant part of your characters story, as once you've tied up their side missions you don't really see them again until the end, unless you count a couple of text messages. Skippy the talking gun is a highlight, but needed more one liners, as well as a proper in-game way of keeping him, fittingly there are a number of glitches that enable you to keep him. I feel it also says a lot about a game that I possibly enjoyed reaching out of bounds areas and exploring places that I wasn't supposed to be just as much, if not occasionally more than playing the actual game. Maybe this time next year it'll be a much better game, I would've been willing to wait for it to come out then to be honest. Despite all the negatives I've thought better of my 1 star and given it 3, I'm feeling generous!
