"If you dig a grave for your enemy you might actually fall in it yourself "
" Ibbara Jagala Mooranayavanigey Laabha "
These quotes are very much apt for the story being portrayed on screen
The movie begins on a metaphorical note wherein Shiva emerges from a deep hole and Hari tries to dig the ground with a stone (Shiva and Hari two protagonists)- A perfect combo of fire and ice, please observe the movie poster to further understand this
1st half is breezy and keeps you engaged till the interval. Watch out for the tiger dance scene by Raj Shetty it's one of the most powerful scenes that I have ever witnessed. Cop character played by Gopal Deshpande is well crafted (name in the movie- Brahmayya this is important) Why ? You have to watch the movie for that
2nd half begins on a sour note for the cop and the way he transforms into a super cop is commendable. Greed, ego, anger, and pride are what we see and their after-effects. Although the second half might seem a little too slow that can be ignored as the build-up to the climax was simply breathtaking, raw, and realistic
Pros
1. Intelligently written
2. Excellent BGM
3. Long angle and wide range shots were superb
4. Very realistic movie
5. Audience literally travel with the characters
Cons
1. It may not appeal to everyone
2. You might feel that story has slowed down a bit in the second half
If originality and authenticity is what you are looking for then this movie is a visual treat that needs to be experienced on the big screen
Kudos to Raj Shetty, Rishab Shetty, and entire team for giving us an excellent product like Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vaahana
All the best :)
