I usually avoid films depicting the Savior because I don't like the (often odd) ways Christ and the Bible stories are portrayed... but I LOVE this series. It is strikingly contemporary in creating realistic, nuanced characters - who have families, and work, and joke around with each other the way real people do... while remaining *completely* respectful. The sets, costumes, and acting are all top notch. I wish it was more easily accessible (via Prime or Netflix) but it's worth the (small) hassle of casting it from the app to my TV. I'm not tech savvy at all but with their easy-prompts I figured it out.
