The Bowers House

A great read about an interplanetary journey that's all to familiar to earth. Lannom's BLEACE is a ball of adventurous satire and biting analogy of a world gone mad with consumerism under authoritarian military regime resisted by a protagonist who is often not. I found this book to be shocking and calming, moving and memorable full of imagination of a better world and the incredible journey of a resister who makes his mark on the world, a modern David Cooperfield with a sci fi twist. Great first novel and future cult read. Can't wait for the next book.
