I am not sure who to ask but asking does not hurt. My grandson, a veteran who served 8 years in the army, including Afghanistan, has a Nissan Maxima stick shift year old car. For some reason he has an attachment to the car and it was the one thing that was a constant in his deployments. I helped with keeping it running but I am disabled and on a fixed income and can no longer help. He left the army on disability and now works supporting a wife and 2 children, one who is autistic. On New Year’s Eve he was hit by a black Mercedes that’s did not stop. My grandsons car was run into a field going through a barb wire fence and ended up in a ditch on its side. A police report was filed but was told the Mercedes would probably never be identified. I am hoping to find an organization that would fix his for free. He is really depressed over his car but can not afford to fix it. If anyone knows anybody or any organization would they please let me know
